Joanne Keating

President

Joanne Keating is an experienced Registered Liquidator with over 20 years of experience in the UK and Australian insolvency markets. She joined Worrells NSW/ACT as a Principal in 2023.

Joanne handles all types of corporate insolvency appointments, both formal and informal, across a diverse range of industries. Her proven track record demonstrates her deep understanding of the complexities involved in insolvency matters.

Joanne holds membership with CAANZ and is a Fellow of ACCA. Furthermore, Joanne is passionate about empowering other women in the accounting industry, actively supporting their journey to reach their full potential.


Linda Lam

Vice President

Linda is an accomplished qualified accountant with over 15 years Business Partnering experience. She has worked in diverse business sectors including Insurance, private health funds, medical devices and market research. Linda has excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders to manage performance aligned with business strategy. She is currently with QBE Insurance in Group Transformation and strategic projects finance.

Linda is a people person and highly passionate about connecting with women in accounting industry to collectively inspire and drive continuous improvement professionally. She is a strong advocate for inclusiveness, fairness and equal opportunity.

Linda is a member of CAANZ and a Fellow of ACCA, holds a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from AGSM UNSW.

Linda has a variety of interests: foodie, comedy events, concerts always lookout of learning new things, recently start kinetic fighting (self- defence) training – try to take safety back in our own hands.


Elina McKerrell

Treasurer

Elina draws on over 17 years of extensive experience in the accounting profession, specializing in providing tailored accounting, taxation, and business advisory services across diverse industries.  With a robust focus on taxation and business services, Elina also excels in virtual CFO services, cash flow management, and strategic year-end tax planning, playing a pivotal role in supporting business decision-making processes and guiding leadership decisions. Renowned for her leadership acumen, she fosters client confidence and navigates businesses through varying cycles with precision. Elina also serves on various boards, bringing invaluable insights to the organizations she supports.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Elina finds joy in traveling and exploring new countries, constantly seeking to learn and experience new things. Coming from a large family with seven siblings, she values the dynamics of family relationships and draws on this experience to enrich her approach to client service and leadership. This personal background underscores her commitment to understanding diverse perspectives and fostering strong connections both within her professional networks and beyond.


Sondarya Krishnan

Secretary

Sondarya is a Chartered Accountant currently working as a Senior Financial Accountant at A2B Australia Limited. With experience in Big 4 Accounting and the commercial space, she is passionate about the industry and helping others to find their interest in the industry as well.

After attending a number of SWAN events in the past, Sondarya was excited to join SWAN as a secretary to help other young female professionals meet and network with executives in the industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music and studying Japanese.



Nicole Lynch

Marketing & Social Media

Nicole is the bookkeeping guru and senior client wrangler extraordinaire at Streamline Management. As a co-founder, she's been the go-to for small businesses since the late '90s.

A true Xero wizard, Nicole thrives on helping professional services and trade/construction business owners leap from clunky desktop setups to the smooth skies of the cloud with connected business apps. Her extensive knowledge of the latest small business tech means she's a pro at cutting down admin tasks and simplifying processes.

Nicole is a passionate advocate of community spirit, a dynamic speaker, and a bit of a showpony. She also rocks a lot of red!



Roma Pillay

Membership Secretary

Roma is an experienced Chartered Accountant who trained as an auditor at the Big 4 and has worked in commercial roles in the education and banking industries. Roma is passionate about empowering women to reach their full potential and is excited to be contributing to SWAN.

In her spare time, Roma loves keeping active, reading personal development books and delving into some creative hobbies. 



Avi Randhawa

General Committee Member

Avi is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience across various multinational companies across many industry sectors in market research, financial services, car manufacturing, logistics and retail within the UK and Australia. Avi’s experience is focused on an organisation’s reporting requirements at a business units/divisional level as well as Group level. Technical skills attained are extensive month-end reporting, US GAAP reporting, IFRS reporting, SEC reporting, ensuring the smooth application of company policies in accordance with the relevant jurisdiction across numerous business units, general accounting, strategy and management.

This experience has enabled Avi to be a strong collaborator across the different teams in each company where there can be finance as well as non-finance stakeholders. This has given Avi the chance to communicate with confidence and influence the decision-makers.

Avi holds is a member of the ACCA and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Services.



Myreeann Tchopourian

General Committee Member

Myreeann has over 30 years experience working in the financial industry, her keen eye for detail made her an invaluable member of the managementteam as a Credit & Risk Analyst specialising in compliance and training.

She headed up a team designing and implementing software that would be used in the Australian, Asian and NZ markets. Myreeann founded Chisholm Business Services and returned to bookkeeping in 2000 when GST was introduced. My (for short) loves payroll, but don’t hold that against her!
